Valley Ranch Art is dedicated to the work of artist Barbara Pennington.
Over the years, I visited Aunt Barbara as often as I could. We always ended up in her studio, a replica of a red one-room schoolhouse. She called it Valley Ranch Studio. She pulled paintings as I sat and watched, enjoying a private showing of her most recent work. Time passed and the red schoolhouse faded to pink as Aunt Barbara continued to expand her artistic vision on canvas and paper.
She was 81 when she passed away and painted until the last year of her life. Before her death, I told her that I had daydreamed about owning an art gallery. This made her quite happy. I think it was the thought of her art living on, bringing joy to those that saw it.
This site, Valley Ranch Art, is my promise to her. I want to introduce Aunt Barbara to those that will appreciate the vibrant abstracts, the peaceful landscapes, and the watercolors of the world as she saw it. I hope you'll join me and sign up for emails to keep in the know about the exciting opportunities coming our way. Or should I say her way?
If you see something you like, I hope you'll contact me for purchase information. If you're looking for something in a particular color or size, just let me know. I may be able to find the perfect piece for you. The work on this site is just a small sample of the work available.
Just contact me here, and I'll be in touch.
I hope you enjoy your visit to Valley Ranch Art!
Best,
Vicki Pennington Moreland
